Camp Woollybutt

Camp Woollybutts provides schools and community groups with the perfect learning environment where students immerse themselves in natural habitats and interact with living creatures. This camp experience is far more engaging and memorable than any textbook.

Located near the Main Station, Camp Woollybutts offers a ablution block with hot showers, a bush tucker garden and a large lawn camp ground with fire pit.

Who is Camp TWP for?

  • Primary school aged children and over
  • Restricted to maximum of 60 children and a minimum of 20 (for camp option 1 & 2 only) no max or min for camp option 3.
  • Must have at least one supervising adult per 10 children (not including camp guide)
  • Available only between the months of April and September

Arrival and Departure Times

  • Suggest arrival time is between 9am and 2pm
  • Pack up  the campground is before 10am (the group is welcome to stay on Park however)

How much does it cost?

Option 1

This option is the full camp itinerary. 1.5 hours camp ground activities, 1.5 hours on park activities and a morning Be Crocwise talk.
Children: $70.00 per student (includes park entry)
Teachers: Park entry and camping is FREE
Parents and Helpers: Parent helpers are $60.00 per adult (includes park entry)

Option 2

This option is for the 1.5 hour camp ground activity. 1.5 hours camp ground activities with optional movie after dinner.  No morning Be Crocwise talk.
Children: $50.00 per student (includes park entry)
Teachers: Park entry and camping is FREE
Parents and Helpers: Parent helpers are $40.00 per adult (includes park entry)

Option 3

This option is for camping only. No activities. An evening movie is available upon request.
Children: $28.00 per student (includes park entry)
Teachers: Park entry and camping is FREE
Parents and Helpers: Parent helpers are $18.00 per adult (includes park entry)
