The Territory Wildlife Park is located 50kms south of Darwin and is situated on 400 hectares of natural bushland, which includes a variety of diverse habitats including Wetlands, Woodlands and Monsoon Forest.
These natural, well established habitats provide an excellent backdrop to display an equally impressive range of native flora and fauna, making it an essential introduction to the Top End’s wildlife and habitats.
The Park offers school groups the opportunity to use the Park’s facilities and the expertise of its guiding and zoo keeping staff, to deliver educational programs on a variety of topics and themes.
We have a range of outdoor venues and exhibits that can be used as living classrooms, where students can immerse themselves in real habitats and interact with living creatures, an experience far more memorable and engaging than any text book!!
